Sadie Amara Calvano hails from America and is best known as the actress who played Violet Plunkett, in CBS"sitting show Mom. Calvano is a Californian who was interested at first in the sport of competitive gymnastics. However, she later chose to make a move acting. In 2010, she first appeared on the screen in a scene from the CBS series "NCIS.' Her big screen debut came one year later in the biographical drama "J Edgar". She is one of the hottest actresses in recent years. As a result of her appearance in 'NCIS', she was nominated for a Young Artist Award for Best Performance on a Television Series Guest-starring Young Actress 11-15 in 2011. In 2013 she was nominated to win an additional Young Artist Award for her appearance as a guest on Disney XD's comedy series, 'Kickin' It'. Calvano was featured in a variety series of the show "Mom" during its 4th season. She played the main role in the initial three seasons of the series. In 2015, her performance in the show "Mom" earned her the Gracie Allen Award as Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star.
